MFT Countdown Kickoff | 5 Days Until the New February Release is Available

It’s time for the My Favorite Things February release countdown! Only 5 days until the release is available. During the countdown, the MFT Design Team is sharing lots of projects featuring all of the new products. The new release will officially be available on February 4th at 10:00 am EST (= Europe: February 4th at 4:00 pm CET).

Today, I’m showcasing the newest Birthday Buds stamp set illustrated by Birdie Brown:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. The card base was made using Berrylicious cardstock. I sponged the card front using the Cloud stencil with White Pigment ink. The grass was die cut using Grassy Edges from Sour Apple cardstock. The small clouds are from the Magical Friends set.

For today’s full product reveal, links to other fabulous projects from the MFT design team and AWESOME GIVEAWAYS, be sure to check out the MFT blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by and see you tomorrow for more countdown fun!

I like the use of the white ink to create the clouds. I'd like to give this a try since I've mostly seen adding color instead of blocking it out.

Francine I never would have guessed that the background started with blue cardstock, and the clouds achieved with white pigment ink! It looks the reverse (teal blending on white stock) and yet you achieved the same look with much less ink! Great inspiration to look at things differently.
