MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #482

Hi everyone! Welcome to this week’s MFT Sketch Challenge! Here is what I came up with: 




Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked in the link-up tool at the bottom of this post. For this card, I decided to create fake paper candles. I cut three strips from patterned papers (all patterns are from the Over the Rainbow paper pack).  I started by curling the paper strips using the edge of the table and then with the handle of a paint brush. Next, I rolled the papers completely and kept them tight. I glued the edges of each tube with On Point Glue from MFT. I adhered a small piece of hemp cord inside of each candle with glue and then fixed the three candles to the front of a white top-folded card base. The flames were die cut from Lemon Chiffon cardstock using the Make a Wish Die-namics. The sentiment is from the Make a Wish stamp set.
