Two more days
until the new My Favorite Things May release is available.
During the countdown, the MFT Design Team is sharing lots of projects featuring
all of the new products. The new release will officially be available on May 5th at 10:00 am EST (= Europe:
May 5th at 4:00 pm CET).
Today, I’m showcasing the newest Square Extraordinaire stencil:
Most of the
supplies I used for this project are linked
at the bottom of this post. I created a background sky using the new
Square Extraordinaire stencil. I
sponged the opening over the front of a white card base using the Cloud stencil and blue Distress ink. The
grass was die cut from Black Licorice
cardstock using the Grassy Fields
Die-namics. The mushrooms are from the Gnome
Place Like Home die. The Gnome is from the Hanging with my Gnomies set from Bride Brown. The sentiment is from
the Main Squeeze stamp set.
For today’s full
product reveal, links to other fabulous projects from the MFT design team and AWESOME GIVEAWAYS, be sure to check out

Awesome card, Francine! Beautiful coloring and I love that you chose the square stencil for your focal point!
Now this gnome has life experiences... Love his gray beard. The square stencil makes a wonderful area for the clouds and grassy area. Love him so much!
Fantastic coloring and such a great use of the stencil! Thanks for sharing your talent.
Oh,My! This is incredible! Love it, Francine.
I really want to know how you made the back round for the good luck card you posted on the MFT email. I can't find it. Love all your cards.
Thanks,
