MFT June Mid-Month Release is Two Days Away

Hello and welcome to the My Favorite Things June mid-month release! Only 2 days until the release is available. During the countdown, the MFT Design Team is sharing lots of projects featuring all of the new products. The June mid-month release will be available on Tuesday June 23th at 10:00 am EST (= Europe: June 23th at 4:00 pm CET).

Today, I’m showcasing the newest Floating Petals cling background stamp:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. I’m in LOVE with this kind of background stamps. They are so versatile. For my project, I heat embossed the Floating Petals to a piece of white cardstock with white embossing powder. I then sponged Distress ink over the panel. To add more depth, I added a bit of black to the edges. I fixed my rainbow panel to the front of a black top-folded card base. The sentiment is from the Good Luck Greeting Die-namics. I die cut it from black cardstock and adhered it to be background using foam pads.

Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see what the other design team members made with all the fabulous products!

That’s all for me today! Thanks so much for stopping!

VERY nice card! Blending with distress ink is so easy, and the colors you chose are gorgeous. Edging the panel in black really gives it more depth, and adhering it onto black finishes it perfectly!
