MFT Mid-June Release | Product Launch

Yay! It’s the My Favorite Things June mid-month release launch! The Vault products are now available for purchase in the MFT online store!

Today, I’m showcasing the newest Floating Petals cling background stamp:

(NOTE: The stamped area may look a bit blurry on the photo but no in real).

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. To create this card, I worked with a stamping tool. I first adhered a top-folded card base to my stamping tool with masking tape. Next, I adhered the Circle Extraordinaire stencil over the card front with masking tape too. I stamped the Floating Petals stamp several times over the opening using Black Licorice dye ink. Once it was well printed, I removed the making tape, left the stamped cardstock dry a little bit and cleaned my stencil. I put the stamping tool aside and placed the stencil again over the stamped circle (I secured both with masking tape again). I traced the circle outline with a black marker using the stencil as a guide. I then sponged Distress inks over the opening and finished with a touch of black all around. I heat embossed the THANKS sentiment from the Bitty Thanks & Gratitude stamp set to a black strip and adhered it over the card front as shown with foam pads. To finish off the card, I added three enamel dots.

Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see what the other design team members made with all the fabulous products!
