2 Days Until MFT’s New July Release

Two more days until the new My Favorite Things July release is available. During the countdown, the MFT Design Team is sharing lots of projects featuring all of the new products. The new release will officially be available on Tuesday July 7th at 10:00 am EST (= Europe: July 7th at 4:00 pm CET).

Today, I’m showcasing the newest All the cupcakes set:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. I created a self-made stencil by making a random opening in a piece of scrap paper that I sponged with Distress inks in rainbow colors. The sentiment is from the All the cupcakes set too.

For today’s full product reveal, links to other fabulous projects from the MFT design team and AWESOME GIVEAWAYS, be sure to check out the MFT blog!

For more inspiration, don’t forget to check my MFT Gallery on Pinterest and my INSTAGRAM feed!

Thanks so much for stopping by and see you tomorrow for more countdown fun!

Francine

This is a gorgeous card! I love that background. It looks watercolored! Did you add water to the ink at all?

Hi Jodene,
No water, only ink blending with blending tools and inks from the pads.

Thanks so much for replying! I have been playing with this technique and I love it! Creating lots of backgrounds, just need to make cards from them :)
