MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #509

Hi everyone! Welcome to this week’s MFT Sketch Challenge! Here is what I came up with:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. For this card, I went for a space background. I created my own stencil using the A2 Circle STAX Die-namics. I die cut a circle shape from scrap paper and used the negative area as a stencil. I fixed the stencil on top of a white top-folded card base and sponged Distress inks over it. I added some tiny white splatters to create the stars. I removed the stencil and added the sentiment strip using foam pads for more dimension. The astronaut dog and the planets are from the Best Friends in the Universe stamp set, as well as the sentiment.

Here is the sketch #509 for this week’s challenge:

Head over to the MFT blog for more details if you’d like to play along and to check out what the other design team members have created with this sketch!
