25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020
Hello everyone!
I’m so happy to be guesting for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020 event
hosted by Tracy
McNeely. There are not
less than 26 sponsors this year! For the first 25 days of November, Tracy and
some designers of each sponsor company have created Christmas tags as
inspirations for you to create your own tags. You can also win lots of
wonderful prizes! If you are new to the annual event or want to know how to
play along, check the main post for more details and link up info HERE.
Today, I’m joining in with My Favorite Things, one of the lovely sponsors, for the BONUS DAY! Here is what I came up with:
Most of the
supplies I used for this project are linked
at the bottom of this post. For this card, I chose a Santa and deer
stamp from the Christmas sELFies set
illustrated by Birdie Brown. I started by stamping the image in black ink onto
white cardstock, colored and cut it with scissors as shown. The tag as well as
the green scalloped border were die cut using the Gift Tag Die-namics. The green patterned paper is from the Petite Gingham paper pack. I die cut
the tag base twice: one from white cardstock and one from gingham cardstock. I
then glued both together to make the tag stronger. The sentiment is from the Bitty Holiday Wishes stamp set and was
heat embossed with white embossing powder onto black cardstock. The tiny heart,
colored with Copic markers and Clear Wink of Stella glitter, was die cut using
the Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics.
To finish off the tag, I fixed all elements together with glue and foam pads
for more dimension and added black and white twine.
I hope you’ve got
inspired!
Be sure to play along with the event and upload your tags on Tracey’s blog (called In my creative opinion)! Thanks so much for stopping by!
