MFT & Friends | November 2020 Product Launch

YAY! It’s time for the My Favorite Things November product launch! All new products are available right now at the MFT store and the MFT design team, as well as special guests, are sharing projects created with the new stuff. You can find a lot of inspiration! 

Here is my card featuring the newest Wonderful Woods stamp set:

  

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. This set is seriously A-MA-ZING! These trees are wonderful: bold but with some details. I decided to create a starry night background. I used watercolor paper and watercolors (Winsor and Newton watercolor tubes). Once my night sky was dry, I splattered some white paint over it to make the stars. Next, I stamped the pine trees using black ink several times with the Misti stamping tool and I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. I then die cut the panel using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics and blended the bottom with some blue Distress ink to add some contrast to the snowy border. To finish off my card, I adhered the panel with glue to the front of a white top-folded card base. So simple but so dreamy, isn’t it?
