2 Days Until MFT’s New December Release

Two more days until the new My Favorite Things December release is available. During the countdown, the MFT Design Team is sharing lots of projects featuring all of the new products. The new release will officially be available on Tuesday December 8th at 10:00 am EST (= Europe: December 8th at 4:00 pm CET).

Today, I’m showcasing the newest Blastoff Buddies stamp set:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. For this card, I decided to create a space scene. I blended the front of the white top-folded cardstock with Distress inks using the Ray of Light stencil and blending tools. I splattered white ink over the surface to make the stars. The sentiment is from the Blastoff Buddies stamp set too. I drew a speech bubble around it with a pencil and a ruler, and I cut it with scissors to fit my needs for the scene. I adhered all elements with foam pads to the card front for more dimension.

For today’s full product reveal, links to other fabulous projects from the MFT design team and AWESOME GIVEAWAYS, be sure to check out the MFT blog

Bonjour, Francine -
Je ne sais pas dire "ink blending" en français, alors je continue en anglais... LOVE your ink blending!! It's GORGEOUS. I also love the rays (from a stencil) at the bottom that lend depth and interest to an already-cool background. I will have to check out this set when the release occurs. Your work is always PHENOMENAL, Francine. You are "du premier rang"!!
Mes meilleurs voeux pour une saison joyeuse, despite the social distancing.

I love your coloring. Maybe it's just me, but the planets look like chocolate chip cookies to me. That'd be fun!
