MFT Countdown Kickoff | 5 Days Until the New February Release is Available

It’s time for the My Favorite Things February release countdown! Only 5 days until the release is available. During the countdown, the MFT Design Team is sharing lots of projects featuring all of the new products. The new release will officially be available on Tuesday February 16th at 10:00 am EST (= Europe: February 16th at 4:00 pm CET).

 

Today, I’m showcasing the newest Balloon Cover-Up Die-namics:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. I went for a clean and simple birthday card. I die cut the Balloon Cover-up from Eiffel Tower cardstock. I adhered the background to the front of a white top-folded card base with glue. I then die cut the balloons from Ripe Raspberry, Candied Yam (new), Butterscotch (new), Sour Appel and Caribbean Sea (new) cardstock. I adhered them to the background with glue, too. Next, I stamped the sentiment using my MISTI stamping tool. Such a fantastic sentiment (love it)!!! It’s from the newest Birdie Brown stamp set called Mice Day to Celebrate. I finished off my card by stamping, coloring and cutting the bunny and balloons from the Balloon Besties stamp set. I adhered him to the card front using foam pads for more dimension.
