Clearly Besotted | May Release is 4 Days Away

Hello everyone! I’m so excited to join Clearly Besotted for the new May release countdown teasers as a guest this month again. The new stamps are AMAZING and as always, I had so much fun playing with them. I can’t wait to share my cards with you.

Let’s begin the May release countdown teasers! During the countdown, the Clearly Besotted Design Team and special guests are sharing inspirations showcasing the new collection. Only 4 days until the new Clearly Besotted release will be available. The new release will officially be available on Wednesday May 5th at 8:00 am BST.

Here is my first inspiration card using products from the newest Spelling Bee stamp set:

I started by making a white top-folded card base. I created a yellow and black sponged background using the FANTASTIC Brush Strokes stencil that I blended with Distress inks to the front of the card base. I splattered some black ink over the panel for more interest. Next, I stamped, colored and cut the adorable bee. I then stamped the sentiment (also from the Spelling Bee stamp set) and cut around. I adhered both, image and sentiment label, with foam pads to the card base as shown. To finish off my card, I added two enamel dots.
