release is awesome!

To celebrate this new release, I did 2 cards.
For the first one, I used the cute fox from the Hello Friend set. I sponged the background with Distress inks and blending
tools. I added some stars using a stencil and texture paste. To give more
dimension to the fox, I stamped the image several times, also the snowman’s
scarf from the Warm Wishes set. Instead
of coloring everything in one image, I colored (with Copic markers) each part
of the image that I wanted in a different layer. Then I fussy cutted my base
image and all other layers. I fixed the scarf to the base image with glue and all other pieces with foam pads. To finish up the card, I added a sentiment from the Mr. & Mrs. Claus
set and some Wink of Stella on the stars. [This card was also featured HERE].
For the second card, I used the FUN Santa (I love him so much!!!) from
the Mr. & Mrs. Claus set.
I created my own background paper using a stencil that I sponged with
Distress inks. I colored Mr. Claus with Copic markers. The white heat embossed sentiment
"Merry and Bright" is from the Warm Wishes set.

Liebe Francine, Deine Karten sind beide wunderschön geworden. Ich hab mich in die Füchse "verliebt", mit dem super schönen blauen Hintergrund auf der weissen Karte und den Sternen kommt der Kleine richig gut zur Geltung :) LG und bis bald Ute

Darling cards! I LOVE the fox, since I had a whole family of stuffed animal foxes while I was a kid! They bring back such sweet memories! And the Santa card is so cute... awesome coloring!
